Interview with The Student PrintzNot only do USMNEWS.net sources believe that USM president Martha
Saunders was disingenuous with a reporter for The Student Printz regarding its story on the $35,000 raise
awarded to USM football coach Larry Fedora (pictured below), they also tell USMNEWS.net that Saunders’

raise received this year by USM head football coach Larry Fedora has generated a firestorm on the USM

Graduate student Justin Dunfee is the latest in a parade of USM students to publicly criticize the USM
administration. The counseling psychology student from Texas penned a letter to The Student Printz on
22-Nov-2010, blasting USM athletics director Richard Giannini over the decision to provide a $35,000 raise to
USM head football coach Larry Fedora. Calling Giannini a “blatant hypocrite,” Dunfee suggests that Giannini
“. . . should start kissing more private donors’ asses to help offset the athletic fees students pay” as part of their
tuition each year.
