"CoB Dean Harold Doty concluded the fall 2006 CoB Faculty Meeting by informing faculty that an unnamed individual or individuals were attempting to sabotage the College's 2007 AACSB Reaffirmation efforts. Doty stated that AACSB officials had been notified of the sabotage efforts...".
(November 3, 2006) You Say You've Got Two? Then You're AQ! "The CoB is still a few days away from defining what makes one Academically or Professionally Qualified. From what we hear, two publications over five years will make one AQ for 2007 AACSB reaffirmation. Things have come along way over the past decade - AQ is down 33% from the mid-1990s. So much for Dean Harold Doty's plan to ramp up scholarly activity in the CoB. "Black to Fade" is now complete...".
(December 7, 2006) Plagiarism in the CoB? "On November 10, 2006, a document entitled "Guidelines for Participating and Supporting Faculty" was circulated throughout the CoB via email. The following screenshot displays that email that was sent to all CoB faculty by Melia Hartsfield:...".
(December 13, 2006) 8-Dec-06 CoB Meeting News Bytes "... CoB Dean Harold Doty has completed work on the first 4 of the 5 AACSB Strategic Management Standards. Doty told the CoB that he is delaying completion of the 5th as a way to leverage more money from USM Provost Jay Grimes.

Commentary: Is AACSB important, or not? When Grimes hears he’s being used (again) by Doty in this way, it’ll be hard for him (Grimes) to believe it is important. And, he’ll (Grimes) be right in thinking so...".
