(January 13, 2009) CoB Human Resources Update January, 2009 Next we move to some former CoB, faculty,
beginning with assistant professor of marketing, Dan Fisher. Fisher (shown below) has made two moves since
Harold Doty arrived as dean of USM's business school in July of 2003. One of these was from USM to the University
of Tulsa, while the next was from UT to the University of Central Arkansas, where he is currently affiliated.
(January 18, 2009) Special Report Stultz Joins CoB's MGT Faculty An Investigative Report on the CoB's Human
Resources According to the USM's Registrar's Office, Forrest General Hospital Vice-President Rob Stultz has joined
the CoB's MGT faculty, though this move represents what sources say is a stop-gap measure. Stultz is now (spring
2009) teaching one section of MGT 364 (Human Resource Mgmt) on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-9:15pm.
According to the USM Registrar, Stultz's section currently has 49 students enrolled.
(January 23, 2009) CoB News, 26 January 2009 Former CoBers Lopez & Kozar Breaking Out Again From the recent
update to the CoB's Brain Drain, Part 2, former CoB marketing faculty Tara Lopez, now an assistant professor of
marketing at Southeastern Louisiana University, is back on the research march. Lopez recently published articles in
both the Journal of Business Case Studies and the Journal of Diversity Management.

the recent story about former CoB marketing professor Tara Lopez, the assistant professor of marketing at
Southeastern Louisiana University brought home yet another journal publication. This latest one, in the Journal of
Applied Business Research (shown below), complements the two that were the focus of a recent report – Journal of
Business Case Studies and Journal of Diversity Management.
(February 8, 2009) CoB Human Resources Update February, 2009 A study of more than 2,500 top business scholars
worldwide is circulating that indicates that former CoB associate professor of international business Len Trevino sits
at the 62nd percentile (among the top 2,500 or so) in terms of points scored for international business-related
publications in the two dozen top journals in the business fields (i.e., accounting, finance, information systems,
international business, management, and marketing).
