(October 9, 2008) Special Report Tables Turned An Investigative Series on CoB Faculty Credentials A few readers have contacted USMNEWS.net to point out that a number of former CoB faculty have moved on to institutions that have trained various current and former CoB faculty. Some if not most of these former faculty were, according to sources, “run out of the CoB” for questioning the ethics of CoB administrators and/or exceeding the research production levels of various CoB administrators’ favorites.

(October 13, 2008) CoB News, 13 October 2008 October Surprise Some CoB faculty may be surprised to learn that a number of new faces will be joining the CoB in January of 2009, just in time for the upcoming spring semester. These new hires were made by the Alvin Williams interim administration of the CoB (2007-08), and they fall primarily in the MGT and MKT areas. However, the fact that they occurred back in late 2007 and/or early 2008 means that the tentacles of the old Williams administration continue to get in the way of new CoB dean Lance Nail.
(October 16, 2008) The Face of CoB-GC Continues to Change More New Faculty Sign Up for Duty The faculty roster down at the CoB's Gulf Coast operation continues to twist and turn, as more new faculty are set to join in the coming weeks. The list now includes Greg Bradley, who is classified as a visiting assistant professor of management by USM-GC officials. According to sources, Bradley is co-owner of Decision Scientific in Gulfport, an applied research and management consulting firm. Like Jamye Foster and Michael Gade, Bradley's teaching duties begin in January of 2009.
(October 16, 2008) Special Report Next Comes Hansen An Investigative Report on the CoB’s Human Resources The new year (2009) will usher in yet another change to the CoB’s human resources portfolio. In about 10 weeks the CoB will be welcoming another new assistant professor of marketing in John Hansen, who will come to USM from Northern Illinois University, where he has been since 2006. Hansen, shown below, received his PhD training at the University of Alabama, while his two prior degrees come from Troy University.
